Hair transplantation is the process of transferring hair follicles from the dense areas of the back and sides of the head to bald or thinning areas. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and when done with the correct technique, yields highly natural results.
Transplanted hairs usually shed within the first 2-3 weeks after hair transplantation. However, this does not mean the loss of hair follicles.
